Adventure Factor: 3/5
Spend a laidback week cruising the beautiful Galician coast out of Vigo! Explore charming fishing villages, beaches, and experience the best of Spanish maritime culture.
This is a relaxing one-week cruise departing from the port city of Vigo in northwestern Spain. You'll have the opportunity to go island-hopping, drop anchor in secluded coves, and soak up the Galician way of life on the water.
It'll also include a taste of adventurous sailing, as we'll make our way from Vigo to A Coruña, farther north in Galicia. This is the perfect trip for those that would like a bit more adventure, but don't want to take on one of the longer passages across the biscay.
My name is Guilherme (profile) and I'll be your skipper for this trip! I've been in CUYC since 2019, crossed the Channel and Biscay, and have been skippering a number of weekend trips for the club. I love adventurous sailing, but also loafing around, swimming in the sea, catching some rays, and drinking caipirinhas. Hopefully the trip will included all of the above. If you have any questions, feel free to message me!
Hello! I am Claudia, a fifth-year medical student and current CUYC vice commodore training. This will be my third summer programme and first year as first mate, so really looking forward to it! Super excited for a week of a lot of fun and sailing!
